I'm still incredibly confused about how to install this map. Does someone mind helping me or sending me a link to a guide or something. It would be much appreciated.

Download all files, open file 001 with 7zip, read Readme, now you know what to do.

Try to download the latest 7zip version. I also had the same problem when tried to extract with older version of 7zip.

Could someone post the order of the files when installing with Promods please? The readme didn't say how to. At first I had all Promod files higher in priority than the Rusmap files resulting in no land connections, just a ferry to St Petersburg. I then put the Rusmap files higher than Promods resulting in most land routes connecting, but the entire game map wasn't in sync (city locations offset from the drawn land masses). What is the correct order to be set in the mod manager?

You don't have to wait. It is included in RusMap archive.

Tried to delete the ferry connection "St.Petersburg - Nynāshamn". This makes game crashing during loading. (Most possible, because of the only Petersburg's ferry connection)
Have to stayed this connection. Better developers try to do something with that.
