Original Scania Finland-Poland

I updated my original Scania R440, now with almost 140,000km on the odometer, and set of on a short ferry-hopping journey with 22 tonnes of apples from Jyvaskyla, Finland to Nowogard, Poland.

Having a bad day...

That moment 50km away when you realise you've got to park at Lidl. In the dark.


Fortunately, the Lidl in question wasn't one of the evil ones, but a relatively basic diagonal parking area. It was dark when I got there, so no final destination pictures.

DAF employees and all DAF truck fans, look away now...

This one was slightly more forgivable than yesterday's incident; I misjudged the UK style sliproad, having not driven there for a while and getting distracted after finding the new camera rotation with steering feature

The moral of the story: I can't drive...

Is there some difference when driving with a lifted axle and when it's not lifted? , and when is it to be used that lift axle system? , when hauling heavy cargo?
