Some here might have heard it, but i am currently designing a map that will cover the northern parts of Scandinavia. I am about 30% finished with one city already, but the road network is growing rapidly. I am using mostly Google Maps to see how the road goes. I live in the area, where i started the construction. I started the construction on the map of the city Bodø.

I think, Platypus will build swedish coast with cities, like Umeå and Luleå, so, you can not build these cities.

The pictures you posted look very nice! I'm looking forward to your map.

He still can release it as a standalone map, and that's what he's planning to do according to his post in the scs forum.

Arjeplog is where the car companies take models to be extreme-tested. I sense another test centre being added...!

Absolutely. My thought exactly, but i have thought aswell, if Umeå and Luleå will be part of the ProMods map, i might not create those cities and rather focus on the other cities and villages.

Maybe. I have also been there myself. It is just 2-3 hour drive away from where i live. At home here, we are travelling to Arjeplog every year.

Looking awesome Chris! Don't we just love Scandinavia?!!!

Just to know, i am also looking after some volunteers that will be part of creating this map. There are some stuff i need help to. For an example adding a def-file for the map. I know you don't need to add countries if the map is gonna be standalone, but my map will have 3 countries which is Norway, Sweden and Russia. There are other stuff with a def-file. Have no idea of how i am doing it. I have tried, but not succeeded with it.

If someone will volunteer, then send me a message if you're interested.

A great milestone completed!!!

I have finally reached the city border of Fauske. Working now to add buildings, scenery, delivery companies, more roads and other stuff. Not much of the scenery is added. I am working on the road structure first. That is what i have been doing with the whole map, except some areas for an example Bodø and Tverlandet where you have seen i have added a lot of scenery.
I have been working 3 hour straight now to reach the city border of Fauske. Fauske is not a very big city. It is a small city, or more like a small town with a population of 9,500
With Bodø it is different, which has a population of 50,000
