So i created a new profile i wanted to start from scratch and sometimes the game randomly crashes by freezing for a second and then i ctd, no idea why it happens bc on the other profile i could game for hours without this happening. Also i noticed a specific Ford like npc car has some weird pink and white chess pattern instead of the usual paintjobs, and some trailers have it too.

If you are seeing white and pink it means the texture cannot be loaded, this can cause the game to crash.

Hello there,

Try doing this:
Use notepad to open config.cfg at Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Find cf_asus_aura "1" and cf_razer_chroma "1".
Change both "1" to "0".
Save the file and restart the game.
