Just a quick question. I was using promods 1.80 and it was working great, then 1.81 came out and it crashes when I start. When I update promods, should I select the 1.80 file set as well as the 1.81 set or just the 1.81 ONLY? (In the profile/edit profile area). Not quite sure how to properly update. Thanks for your answers.

All downloads contain the full package - so you just enable the most current (1.81) files in your profile. The older ProMods files can be deleted from your mod folder.

..... and always make sure you create and download a new DEF file before you download the main mod files. The structure of the def file often changes with game/mod updates.

Every update from ProMods is a whole package. So you will need 3 active files from the ProMods. So for now you have to activate all 3 1.81 files.ttobin_40 wrote:Also, if I download the 1.82 DEF file, can I use that along with 1.81 update if I decide not to get the 1.82 yet?
EDIT: Sorry just noticed the facebook post. For the moment it should look like this:
There will be a 1.82 update as a whole that will have this "hotfix" into it. When that happen you dissable these 4 files and activate the 3 1.82 files

Well I downloaded promod 1.81 through a payloadz link when I bought 1.80. So I didn't download the def file. So can someone give me a link here or a dropbox link so I can get the 1.81 def file? Then I can use promod 1.81 before I update my ETS2 to 1.15. Otherwise I'd have to update my ETS2 and then get 1.82. I want to wait awhile for the bugs to get worked out before I update ETS2.

Choose language
After that click the link to make the def file
Choose setting and click generate it should download after that

Thanks I managed to get it working correctly. What I did was I included promod 1.81 mods along with 1.82 def file. So I ended up having to include also v1.80 mods with 1.80 def files too. So I didn't really need the 1.81 def file. The v1.82 def file was good enough. I'm happy again . So the plan is to wait until I update ETS2 to 1.15 and then I'll try the newer promods, which ever version they may be on at that time.
