Can anyone tell me how to find the format of a DDS image for ETS2, using Paint.Net? I tried to use some loading images I made that worked fine in 1.34, but now I have 1.40, the last non-Steam version, and they show up in the game as a solid pink. I can understand that you have to scale the map down, as 1:1 would huge. But I never understood why one part of the map is this scale and another part is that scale... Why not make it all the same scale?

I would create a test profile, put no other mods in it, then look and see what changed. That way I would have a disposable way to test the mod and see what is in it.
