By 'file' I assumed you meant the promods-def-v100.scs file. Anyway, I loaded it into Notepad, saved it as UTF-8, and it seems to have done the trick. Thanks!

i had the same bug in the same city i drove wrong because off that. That misleading route was the first bug I came across. Luckily I went straight on!
