The Swedish Islands Map is also clashing with ProMods. Since ProMods has Gotland as well nowadays, it is kinda pointless to have it now... Yes, that's a new thing in 1.35. If you use ProMods 2.41, you can use that option as well.

No, that is a thing that has changed in both 1.34 and ProMods 2.40. Since 1.34, there is support for adding custom localisation strings, which we immediately took the opportunnity to implement them.

If you want it to be even more educational, switch on the option below the localises names, which shows both names on the map in case they don't match. This is useful to see which name you have to follow on the signs (and it may help you understand how to read Cyrillic letters)

Go to "Gameplay Options" and enable "Localised Names". That should fix it.

I do NOT suggest to look at Arayas' tutorials, as he uses old and outdated methods. The main trick is to leave the sign templates unpacked ( link ), but better is to make a symbolic link to your custom base and put that link into the mod folder, so that the game can properly cache your sign template...
