And yes, I get what I believe is the console.

I managed to get the screen to pop up, and I've managed to get out of the truck - I set the console value to 1. However, I can't seem to move outside of the truck, using WASD and the arrow keys. Are there any buttons I should be using instead?

I've tried numerous things, but I'm not having any luck. Do you know if this works on Mac and if there are some other steps necessary on a Mac as opposed to a PC?

Update: I tried ~ + shift, but that seems to change nothing. Any suggestions?

I did that, by copying and pasting the value below it. When closing ETS, it stayed as such, but when pressing the tilda (~) it doens't pop up. Do I maybe need to do ~ + shift, as that's what my computer uses in order to type the ~ icon?

I also noticed that an extra pair of quotation marks appeared around the number. Every time that I open and close the game, that appears, even if I delete it. Do you know how to fix this, because tilda does open up any menu of sorts.

I have an application called 'Text Edit' which seems to work as I couldn't find any Notepad application. I hit the tilda key but it didn't open anything to type into.

I found two config files - config.cfg and preview_config.cfg. I don't know which one to use, but I can't edit/open it as every time I click on it, it believes that "There is no application set to open the document “config.cfg”.
