When I start the game, as soon as I’m in the truck it starts going in reverse at full throttle. Stopping the engine doesn’t work as it restarts immediately, and going in reverse. Had this happen before but I’ve forgotten how it was resolved. Running vanilla 1.48, no mods

To be honest, I was disappointed that it wasn’t fresh!
I’ve been using a Benz X class pickup to explore areas that look a bit truck unfriendly, like that road from south to north coast in Iceland.
Or that benighted maze on Svalbard!

I reported what I thought was a bug, but I’m informed it’s been fixed. With WIP. Except I don’t know what WIP is and I’m using current versions of everything I think. Bug still on my version, as of yesterday

I don’t usually mess with beta anything’s, but I got the beta for Ceuta, Melilla etc. works great. But needing to get a ferry from Sicily to get to Melilla or Valencia for Ceuta, seems awkward. I would imagine there’s a closer option in the real world. And if we’re doing ‘enclaves’, what about Gibra...

I did the roll back to 1.47 (beta, supposedly). And it worked! Happy and back to business.
All that SCS has to do is add a dialog box informing us of an update, and a choice of go or no go! It’s not that hard. I also turned off auto updates on the Steam client!

I didnt want the god damn thing, as i never asked for it. It angers me mightily that this happens. Is there a way i can go back to 1.47. I spend most of my time using Promods maps etc

From Plymouth to Bilbao, the ship changed colour, and the line. Started out red, arrived blue. And ferry from Ystad, Sweden to Bornholm, Denmark, started out as the older small one with the tiny truck deck, but arrived as a giant Color Line ship.
