Keep in mind that for 2.40 we've had to deal with 2 merges and we've upgraded many more roads besides(stuff that's not on the compat page). The time difference between 2.30 and 2.40 is also much shorter than the difference between 2.20 and 2.30

Unless the two maps take up the same area of the map It should work with most other ATS map mods ;)

I'd intended to make the Wenslydale Creamery when I was first planning the A684 out and then just never did :P It's a little risky but I should be able to create it without delaying the 2.40 release ;)

Continuing my tweaks to Wales, in the released version this section of the A487 is based on a period of time when there were road improvement roadworks ongoing.
