Countries are assigned only on road nodes. Designate the border at the extreme nodes of the roads, where the border of the country is supposed to be. Then do "Map -> Recompute map". On all other nodes, the country will be assigned automatically.

... Finally I have found out that it can be adjusted in "config.cfg" file by the "uset g_flyspeed" variable. It was 150 for my ATS and 3750!! for ETS2... You don't have to go to "config.cfg" and not write in the console, but just spin the mouse wheel during free camera.

Blender requires image files with the extension .tga. Blender does not understand .dds files.

If you make your own narrow roads, then you will have to make the same narrow crosses for them, since the default crosses will not work correctly..
