It must be about 8 years since I last played ETS2, it's nearly 10 since I signed up here by the look of it.
I wonder if I can remember how to make any of this stuff work?

Re: Silliest Cargos Delivered
I don't know the towns and cities in Europe well enough to know what is a silly load or location but IRL I once took 8 ducks in my semi from Newcastle in NSW to Adeliade in SA (Australia).

Re: Roundabouts...
Worse still, the next winter these temporary repairs are like scabs on flesh wounds, and are scraped off by the snow plows, leaving an even worse pothole... We don't have a lot of problem with snow plows (other than unemployment for snow plow drivers) but we have the flesh wound issues simply becau...

Re: Roundabouts...
Eh? The "Moon Crater" image clearly shows un-repaired potholes. Yeah but the image below the quoted statement clearly said "Potholes filled". Had I quoted the image it would have just added unnecessary padding to a post that didn't need it, kind of like having to explain things ...

Re: Roundabouts...
I dare say that we have probably worse roads and streets than many third-world countries! That image indicates the potholes were filled, in this country they don't bother filling them. :D We have some good roads in Aus and we have some average roads but our problem is that the really bad ...

Re: Roundabouts...
Some of this countries best paved roads are 2000ks from the cities but within a 100k radius of every capital city the roads have pot holes, lumps, fading line marking, varying surfaces and little road work. Some of the heaviest traffic routes will only carry about 20,000 vehicles a day (average) but...

Re: Roundabouts...
I have the opposite opinion. I think this game needs more tight difficult areas. I think that too and that's why I like RusMap with it's tight roads, roads with lumps and bumps and roads that aren't even bitumen. Having never been to Europe I can't comment on how good or bad the roads are but I was...

Re: Roundabouts...
Roundabouts are just like cars, if they get in the way too bad. :) If every roundabout in the game was semi-mountable it would take away the risk of testing them. No point pushing the boundary if you know where every boundary is. It's like some of the bugs people find (the missing signs or barriers ...

Re: Roundabouts...
Roundabouts are usually built for traffic calming purposes (and for traffic flow in some cases). Don't expect to drive fast across them. Take it slow and manoeuver the roundabout carefully... In Australia we are getting more and more 'semi mountable' roundabouts. They are built with round profile k...

Re: RusMap 1.5: Finally at the correct scale!
Dirt road with wooden bridge. There used to be a road like that on Rus Map (can't remember between where) and for a good part of it you had to drive off the road to get the road to mark itself as discovered. That was a great road. Argh! Even driving at less than 2 kph my poor truck took a beating! ...
