Re: Development on version 2.x (France Edition)

Hi Sam,
I've just been travelling through the reworked areas in the North, and the bit of road near St-Omer. I live there IRL and it's really a great job ! No space for the city itself ; but I enjoyed that little bit of road anyway 8-) Thanks ! :D

Re: Development on version 2.x (France Merge)

Then you will be happy that my next project right now is exactly rebuilding the landscape of that interchange. You will see when It's ready :D Great !! I'm sure I will love it 8-) Thanks Ivan ! One (maybe useful, or not so useful) piece of information : speed limit in the Dunkirk area is 70 ...

Re: Development on version 2.x (France Merge)

Would it be an option to have Dunkirk as a scenery along the A16 ? The A16/A25 junction looks very different to reality for instance, because the junction is in the the urban area IRL. The A16 in Dunkirk is like driving through industrial and residential areas on both sides. I know it may not be pos...

Re: Development on version 2.x (France Merge)

Really good news ! So happy to see Northern France getting more realistic ! It was such a bad feeling when driving around Calais (which I do a lot). I even avoided it as much as possible ... Good news about the early release before we get a complete Eurotunnel rebuild. Personnaly I don't mind too mu...

Re: Development on version 2.x (British Isles Edition)

Ok so I want to talk about Scotland (surprise surprise😂). I'd like to throw a few ideas the devs way and see if they could answer which ones are on the to do list, which ones they'll consider whether its possible and which ones just aren't possible. Don't worry, I'm not looking for confirmations or...

Re: Development on version 2.x (France Merge)

Slightly, road connections to the A16 and towards Belgium were changed when Promods rebuilt the Calais-Brussels road if I am not mistaken. The harbour area was updated too if I am not wrong ?

Re: Development on version 2.x (France Merge)

It is true that Calais needs to be reviewed ... I live 50km from Calais and I try as much as possible to avoid it in the game ... Actually, the whole area north of Paris deserves a rebuilt. Calais is such a major logistical link between Europe and the UK that I am surprised SCS have not improved it ...
