If you search the forum for the name of the mod, there's a post detailing how to edit out the petrol stations.

Nothing obvious in your game.log. Have you tried verifying the local cache on Steam?

Edit2: user aragau101 is possibly a little low on memory for ProMods, but other sufferers should be fine in that respect.

Remove real company logo mod. It includes petrol stations which aren't compatible with ProMods (notice you're near one there).

Though there are still issues, I'd say the Bab2 is now my favourite road in the game. Overall countries: toss up between Slovenia and the Baltics, I'd say and I quit like what little of Ukraine there is too.
