It can work, but only on the "unmodded" part of the Promods map (most of Iberia, some parts of Italy, maybe some parts of Black Sea and Baltic DLC, etc.).

Just a little reminder : all the developpers are working on promods FOR FREE on their FREE TIME. So if no developper wants/has time to work on this , it's sad, but what can you do ? The north-east part is especially fun to drive (and challenging when you have long trailers), and I hope that more roads of this type will come in a future major update.

For the moment, I don't think there is any part of Turkey in Promods 2.56 (the main map).
There is only a small portion of Turkey in Middle East Pack 2.56, from the Syrian border to Mersin.

The interesting question would be : what is proportion of ETS2 players that uses map mods. Because you have to remember that the audience for DLC (and old area reskin) is probably much bigger that the audience for mods (especially ones that are not in steam workshop (or equivalent), like the map mod...

The latest version is 1.39. 1.40 is in BETA and Promods never update to a beta version.
So don't except any version for 1.40 until the official release of 1.40 (of which we don't know the release date). And then probably a few days/weeks/months depending on the work to do.
