That was a mistake as the map normally would be 300 or 600mb. Some of the base prefabs from SCS had red textures so I was experimenting with fixing it. I had forgotten to finish that before releasing the map and I am now working on a new version that will be compatible with the rest of the future FS...

My friend Sven had this issue when he was helping me with my Switzerland map. He ended up solving the problem by removing some def files.

00:00:46.757 : First job selected from: tradeaux.geneva to eurogoodies.geneva This line actually says it was able to generate the first job. Otherwise it's something like "Unable to generate first job!". So that's not the cause of the problem here. I guess I will have to keep waiting then.

How does one find out if it can generate the first job? Is it in the log where it says it selected its first job between tradeaux.geneva and eurogoodies.geneva?

You can add so-called far models which will be visible in an area as big as you set it. They only allow one look and variant each, though.
But is that it? I was thinking of allowing you to see the terrain around you like you can in real life.

Increasing render distances

Is there a way to increase the render distance further than the far setting? If there is, then how?

My 1:1 scale map needs distances larger than far.
