Re: Modding Q&A
Hi scotth. Making a new road type like you describe is an expert level task. You'd also need to learn to make new prefab junctions, to connect the road. If you're new to map modelling, you might be best to start with getting familiar with working with the basic prefab junctions and roads first. Ther...

Re: How to delete invisable walls
You probably mean the boundaries... In the map editor just open the prefab or road properties, and click "no boundaries". Seems to be necessary for the minimum and sidewalk roads. You can easily configure the map editor to show the boundaries, (activate another checkbox), - they appear as ...

Re: How i can avoid this problema placing two prefabs
Hi. Before you join your prefabs, click on "Node Properties" on the top toolbar, and choose one of the nodes you're about to join. Select "free rotation" in the node properties. When you snap the nodes together, it will rotate itself to match its neighbour. This has its limits - ...

Re: How to add models into map editor?
There's too many "it might be that" possibilities to debug without having your computer in front of me. But I can try and tidy my own notes and post it as a guide in a new thread, and then you can just follow that. Moderators - is it okay to attach pdfs to posts? The rules only mention tha...

Re: How to add models into map editor?
Hi FarmingSniper When I was in your position I used Mirusox' tutorial on youtube to learn. That was posted mid 2020, so it's reasonably up to date. I still follow the process I learned from there, but the video goes fast so I had to work through with a pause button and make a lot of notes. https://w...

Re: Some models disappearing
I've had the same issue. The disappearing models flicker and reappear as you look around? I think you have too many objects visible at the same time, and the graphics driver isn't able to prioritise what to show to you. I haven't found a solution - it seems to be a limit of the game. However the pro...

Map editor not working after 1.38 update
Anyone else's map editor stopped working since the update? Fine a couple of hours ago, downloaded 1.38, and now when I save the map it gets to "Auto-compounding: Finalizing...", gives an error, and won't save changes. The editor log has lots along these lines: "00:02:15.608 : <ERROR> ...

Re: Modding Q&A
I think I might have hit the limits of what is possible on the Paris 1:1 map I've been developing - movements of the camera are causing objects to randomly vanish and reappear (they're still there, just invisible), both in the editor and the game. For example this road: https://i.imgur.com/jgwWTFw.j...
