Re: UK and Ireland suggestions

I actually can't find the most recent version of the welcome to England sign for the M6/M74; and I'm not sure which is the most recent, considering you're looking at realism. For the A68, there is no "welcome to England" sign, only "welcome to Northumberland". But there is a rock...

Re: Germany suggestions

I like most of these ideas - I believe that the province signs for Germany were already planned by Promods... given that Germany's provinces are much bigger and so are easier to place signs for even in a scaled down game. The only one I'm not so sure about is the distance signs... I mean, I do like ...

SCS and mods

I was playing Civilization IV and had a thought - in one of Civ's expansion packs (Beyond the Sword) there was a collection of mods that the developers of the game liked and included with the disc. These mods were of a very professional or near professional standard, and the fact that the developers...

With the Kennedy Tunnel, the Ring Road and the city's cathedral, the Cathedral of Our Lady, as the landmark!

Re: UK and Ireland suggestions

I posted this a while ago on the ETS forums... The M40 could also be fitted in. I miss the journey through the Chiltern Cliffs. http://oi42.tinypic.com/2s6mt6x.jpg Coincidence!!! :O Your idea for the M40 would fit nicely with the idea I had of including an A40 and Heathrow. An M40 to Oxford, with O...

Re: UK and Ireland suggestions

I guess you have to balance ferry crossings with game difficulty. If all the ferries in real life would be put in the game, then the game would be far too easy. Larne though would be a useful harbour to travel to from Cairnryan, Scotland. It would be a right pain to drive from Abderdeen down to Holy...

Re: Belgium suggestions

Updated the thread and fixed a few pictures. Thanks Vencto! :) I think out of all the countries in the game, Belgian was done the least justice by SCS. Not all that many landmarks, no unique scenery. Having traveled through Belgium many times, Belgian motorways always had ring roads and giant juncti...
