Does that mean for now with Arayas' road connection fix we can use RusMap 2.0 with Promods 2.45? I don't want to download and then load up the game and start a new profile to test and wait half an hour for it to sync everything and eventually play for a while if there is problems with game crashing

Clean Profile with only ETS2 1.34, ProMods 2.4 and the latest ProMods Trailer pack and Cabin Accessories and ran into the same invisible wall.

All good Shiva. Was early hours of morning for me when trying it all. Started at 2am and then made that post with my log around 5am so I was beyond tired.

It is working now but is there an English name fix for all the city names in Russia and Belarus?

I worked it out. I only had Models for 1.8 not 1.8.1. Have 1.34 selected in beta though it did change back at one point when for some reason it had to reinstall even though I didn't uninstall it on Steam.. Will download the 1.8.1 files now and use the models there and see if it works.
