I've found that the ferries are too short and cheap, which makes it unrealistic and, more importantly, causes RouteAdvisor to plan some unreasonable routes. I've made a simple fix for it by removing the Italy connection and rationalizing the Greece one. Just place it above MedExpansion and ProMods. ...

RoEX and Project Turkey require one of the three designated BG maps to play or the entire map will offset significantly. I've tried.

But I'm not using any mods that could possibly affect this region. The only map mods I'm using aside from Promods are Rusmap and Southern Region. All the road connection files are up-to-date and placed in the correct order.
