Re: ProMods - One Big Bug.
One Big Bug :?:  . It's not the map's fault! Yes, a higher spec PC with plenty of RAM will certainly help (I have a quad-core with 8gb RAM), but most important is a quality graphics card (€100+). It really is worth the money, as you'll see a huge increase in visual performance. With a low-end c...

Re: Hide "end of map" barrier signs
Stummer: is your mod loading before or after the ProMods mod files? The barrier signs mod must load after any map mods, else they could get overwritten. The mod I use to eliminate those signs work on all my maps.

Re: ProMods v1.5.2 does NOT work with patch 1.9
If you are running the Steam beta auto-download version of ETS2 (which the last time I checked was 1.9.3), and you want to use an older version with your saved games and profiles, just run the SCS copy of the game (from the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder in Program Files). Steam runs its own version ...

Re: Wonderful "Easter Egg" in France!
I also think the bridge where no trucks are allowed is in lorient, but I can't find the visitor truck parking area at the foot of the Mont St. Michel. I will continue searching. Can't exactly remember how I got to Le Mont St. Michel, but if you follow the road signs, you enter a place called Pontor...

Re: Data Error while extracting
Yes it's always possible you've been getting corrupted / incomplete files. I know it's an issue that crops up quite often. But as you suggest, the kids are back at school now, so less internet traffic

Re: Data Error while extracting
I think the problem here is that you don't (not with 7-Zip anyway) see the 2 parts combine when you do the extraction. By following the instructions, you should end up with 2 mod files: promods-map-v152.scs (102,048 KB) promods-v152.scs (296,113 KB) So long as those 2 files plus the promods-def-v152...

Re: V 1.5 Game Crash
I am also suffering a game crash (v1.5.0 with Hotfix), on the road from Calais to Rouen/Le Harve (turn off the A16), just past the Region Picardie sign. The nearest coordinates I can get are: (sec-0008-0001);-31501.4;30.8583;-2363.35. My suspicions were confirmed when I disabled the Poland Rebuildin...

Re: Development on version 1.x (Current Map Improvements)
I have travelled across Denmark by train, many years ago now, beautiful country, so it will be nice to see some more Danish towns and cities, but this time by road. And it would be fantastic to drive through Aarhus past Den Gamle By (The Old City) if maybe that is possible in the future?

Lolsmurf: Just been looking back at your screenshots on page 4. I love the way the atmospheric haze over the scenery really gives it a sense of being HOT . Now that's mapping!!
