Re: DLC Scandinavia
I really don't see why all the hate against SCS. The game started out as an indie game from a small developer. The oldest parts of the standard map are therefor not the highest quality. But as we have seen in the Going East DLC and in the shots from the Scandinavia DLC, SCS are raising their standar...

Re: What to do with navigation signs pointing to closed road
My opinion on all of this: For signage along existing roads: I think signing existing places would be better than real life places you haven't made, otherwise it feels like the purpose of the signs would be lost. For signage towards non-existing cities/roads: Add towns you are not making, it makes t...

Re: Development on version 1.x (Iceland edition)
Google Streetview still has them. I guess streetview is outdated? When did they replace the 1-lane bridges? Google Streetview is outdated in a lot of places, check the top left corner to see the date of the photos. The map itself should be up to date though. EDIT: After looking at some places in Ic...

Re: Development on version 1.x (Iceland edition)
Is it possible to make the smaller roads really narrow? Like so narrow it just barely fits two trucks in there, because that would make for a good challenge to drive there. Just asking, because the Icelandic roads are really narrow irl as well.

Re: Development on version 1.x (Iceland edition)
Well there isn't any street view on the Faroe Islands, not even in Tórshavn, but since it wouldn't be big, finding some pictures maybe wouldn't be too hard.

Re: Development on version 1.x (Finland - Project Napapiiri)
Ostpuff, that I have one question. How then this city will shown in "Freight Market" menu (where selecting cargo)? As "Haparanda-Tornio (S)" , or "Tornio-Haparanda (FIN)" , and otherwise... :D Let's see, what Platypus will consider. ;) I have offered him to split these...

Re: Development on version 1.x (Finland - Project Napapiiri)
Well you could refer it as Haparanda-Tornio/Tornio-Haparanda, as the city region is often referred as, because the towns are working very close to each other and got good relations. Just a suggestion to maybe take into consideration :) And keep up the great work, Finland is going to be epic! Really ...

Re: Q&A Northern Scandinavia
I also think you should add Sundsvall, if you are going to make Trondheim, then you could make a good connection to Sundsvall with E14 which would make for better connections to Trondheim.foppn wrote:What about Gävle and Sundsvall in sweden? thats two cities with around 100k inhabitans.
