Re: Cabin Accesories DLC

My only problem is that I feel like in 40 second video we probably saw the vast majority of content. Oh well, I guess they can always release more, probably at £1.99. :(

Re: ETS 2 1.21 open beta available

Anyone notice the AI improvements mentioned in the update post? They weren't listed in the changelog. Glad to hear the interior's being fixed up. For the hub of gameplay, it always felt a little droll. I hope they do release some free cabin stuff in this or future updates to complement the DLC. The ...

Re: Headquarters

That's a figure of speech used in English as well :P Although it would be more normal to say 'I like x with my eyes closed.' I've never heard it used that way. The only version of the expression I've heard over here is "that's so easy I could do it with my eyes closed." I've never heard &...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Western Ukraine Project)

Happy to see the Ukraine worked on (and at such speed!). Will the 2.0 version connect with Moldova or Romania, or will we have to go back through Hungary?

Re: Cabin Accesories DLC

It does say DLC in the screenshot. It doesn't look so bad to me. Considering the whole game occurs behind a dashboard, it might be nice to make it more comfortable. My only hope is that it has significant variety. Five stickers and a curtain does not a DLC make.

Re: Inclusion of conflicted areas

Personally I think this is a simulator game. The fact is the many real life truckers going to Crimea pass through two checkpoints on both sides, and on the Crimean side they are under Russian regulations. However we may feel about the situation in the Ukraine, I think this game should reflect real l...

Re: When and how did you hear about ProMods?

It was way back on the first version, a lot of buzz was going around about how good quality the new map mod was. When I started playing and getting into ETS2 a lot of the places I looked said it was much better with Promods installed, so I thought, why not give it a shot. Been trucking on it for yea...

Does that mean there won't be any BRP in 2.0 or that only whatever rebuilds are 100% done at this time will ship?

Re: Development on version 2.x (Project Euromir)

Sorry, but we won't leave out quite a large part of the country just because of "realism". Nobody is going to force you to go through Kaliningrad, if you want the realistic feeling you are describing, feel free to go through Marijampole and Suwałki, nobody will get hurt because of that. A...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Benelux Rebuilding Project)

Wow! I drove all over the Netherlands (and Belgium), and then entered the Zwolle area, and the transition was so incredible I was lost for words. You go from generic kinda-sorta SCS motorway to such a detailed, realistic set of interchanges, it looks exactly like the videos I've seen of the area. Yo...
