Re: Uitbreidingen Nederland

Re: I don't know if it's just me, but Promods Spain > SCS Iberia
What exactly would they move onto another core? Low-hanging fruit like sound and saving have already been broken out AFAIK. Many games still don't have great multicore utilisation. Also, ETS2 *is* a game from 2013 built on top of another from 2011. (...) 100% games today have multi-core support and...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Benelux Rebuilding Project)
At the moment, no one from the team is actively working in the Benelux, nor are there any shirt term plans to do so. If you say you want to pick up mapping, why not do it anyway?

Re: Development on version 2.x (Autobahn Rebuilding Project)
Ulm was indeed removed due to space issues. The new scenery near Stuttgart takes up a lot of space. Even the road network itself. The consequence of that is that the new version of the Drackensteinder Hang starts where our old one ended, thus the Drackensteinder Hang was overlapping with Ulm. But th...

Re: [REL] TR Extended Map
I don't think it's in TR Extended's best interest to merge their content with ProMods as it is right now. Currently, their content is not dependent on ProMods, and can be used with other map mods or completely on its own as well. Also, I think it only requires the Black Sea DLC (correct me if I'm wr...

Re: [REL] TR Extended Map
I have had a look at this map mod in the map editor. It had caught my interest in the previews, but I wanted to have a closer look to get a proper and fair judgement of the map's quality. To start with the good news: this is one of the stronger first releases of a map mod I've seen thus far. You can...

Re: Why are the roads so wide?
There's another reason why the lanes are too wide: there's a limitation in-game that lanes of a road profile are always the same width, no matter how it's curved, while in reality, lanes get wider when curves get sharper (check out how wide lanes are at serpentine curves). SCS made the lanes wider s...

We don't have formulas for this. We just eyeball it.
