Truck speed limits in France

Is it because of Wikipedia you set the speed limit for local roads to 60kph ? For the roads depicted in ETS2 and trucks we virtualy drive, it should be 80kph. The speed limit at 60kph is for non-priority roads; and there is so few in ProMods. Truck speed limits in France (in french). EDIT: 1st line:...

Re: SCS is going to rescale the ATS map!

Yeah, that's the problem. Many people wants real roads. Guys, real roads are in 1:1 scale. And for this reason Truck Sim series will never be a simulator, whatever they add in the game. So what can we objectively expect ? A good "atmosphere" related to the geographical region we virtually ...

Re: Too much resistance in the snow.

To be honnest, i never drove a truck, and i never drove on a large amount of fresh snow. I drove on icy snow every winter since 2002, except the last 2 winters (climatic changes). The rendition in the game give me the feeling to drive on mud rather than snow. Unfortunately, i don't think the physics...

Re: SCS Blog

When i say "feelings", i don't speak about road network. There is a lot of places i don't know how they exactly look like, and to be honest it's not a priority to me. But i want to have the feeling to drive in the country, or state, or geographical region i'm suppose to drive in. SCS did b...

Re: SCS Blog

I don't understand why you spit on SCS. In 16 years i've played a lot of games with great modding community, like OpF, ArmA I&II, FS series, MSTS, and more. It's the first time i read those kind of comments. Of course you are part of the fact that ETS2 is still alive, and sorry to ask this, but,...

Re: France DLC confirmed?

And SCS needs to create every 3d models, not promods.

Anyway, those screens are well choosen, don't know if the places shown are "realistic", but definitly a french atmosphere.

Re: SCS Blog

That's a very nice annoucement. But that means nothing new for ATS map for 1 year or more. And i don't know if modders will "waste" their time to make a map, and then remake it later.

Re: SCS Blog

Kutchek did a great job with landscape, and i don't know why, but i never had the feeling to drive in my country. The screenshots of the incoming dlc are well choose by SCS, i just hope all the dlc will be like this.

I'm just speaking about atmosphere, feelings, and impressions.

Re: DLC Arizona

They have "dedicated teams". I mean, if a "team" has nothing to do, it's two or three or whatever the number of people involved, employees to pay for nothing. I can understand that, and it's akind of showing us they are listening their community (i think some people wanted wheel ...

Re: DLC Arizona

There were Volvo dealers in San Francisco and Las Vegas from day 1, though you had to poke the .sii files to learn this - they weren't advertising their presence while playing. Which suggests that negotiations for Volvo (& Mack) may be happening. I imagine that if we get Freightliner we'll get ...
