It's that time of year again... Opening of well known tourist roads in Norway
These are from county road 63 near Geiranger and Trollstigen. Wish I could add translations to the vids, but it is disabled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZlhZ1t0LYU There is a lot more snow this year, upwards of 4 meters. Two blowers and a dumper advance 300-1500 meters each day. Probably opening...

Re: Is the free download of the mod slowed down on purpose?
Well I donated a fairly nice sum to the team at one point
When more of Norway get some love I'm sure there is more

How heavy is the load normally? At 300kb/s I could serve around 500 concurrent downloads LOLScuL wrote:The free download server is capped at 100kb/s and 3 concurrent streams

Re: ATS - Project West
How about adding the CA120 as a "hidden" road? That way the routing system will not route you there by default.
Looks amazing though

Re: ATS - Project West
Highly doubt class 8 trucks are used for delivery up there tbh. If they do its probably daycab and shorter trailers, not the 53ft ones which are normal. Both roads up there have a 45ft max vehicle length. So making the road so bendy that you can only bring one of the short trailers and a daycab woul...

Re: ATS - Project West
Noticed CA 120 on the list. It is kind of pointless to do as commercial trucking is illegal through Yosemite.
Nearest legal alternative is CA 108, but even that is not used much. Parts of it has a KPRA of 30, which means 30ft from kingpin to rear axle.

Re: Development on version 2.x (Assets & General Improvement
Some people were complaining about tunnel lights not being mounted at the correct location in Scandinavia; the lights were placed on the side instead of the roof. Well, I remodeled some tunnel models so we have lights on the roof now for over 90% of the tunnels: I believe one person in particular w...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Barents Sea Extension)
Was county road 98 between Lakselv to Tana not considered? No one would make the huge detour via E6 to Karasjok if 98 is open, and the game is set in summer time so it wouldn't be a problem. The road over Ifjord mountain have been upgraded a lot now and is probably of better quality than E6 in much ...

Re: Scania 7-Series
There is a 6x2 option, but from what their website list there is no 6x4. A 6x2/4 is not the same as it has the front rear axle turning as well. https://www.scania.com/global/en/global/products-and-services/trucks/our-range/s-series/configuration.html Can check each of them here. Scroll down to axle ...
