As you can see on the screenshot, below the right clock on my dashboard (can't come up with the word in English), there are 2 different numbers. Normally you would call something like that a gauge. In this case it's an RPM gauge but it may or may not have a specialized term which I'm ignorant about.

Perhaps config file was corrupted? That would early signs of disk failure.
