Just a quick thought about the ferries. I would also really love to see Ventspils as an active city and as a ferryport to Nynäshamn. Another ferrylines could be Klaipeda (LT) - Karlshamn (S) and Paldiski (EST) - Kappelskär (S) AFAIK these connections are pretty important in real life for trucktrafic...
