I think you should both recheck downloaded ProMods with this link and recheck local game files in Steam. You can read in the log that last warnings are about lifter`s model malfunction.

There`s just a hole between the road and Stobart base. I think they should be connected somehow.

No, it's fully compatible. As you can see on the download page, there's a text which says "[ETS 1.27]". I'm running 1.27 with 2.16 and have experienced only few and tiny graphical/navigation bugs, which I'll report soon.
