Loaded a Reining trailer with Vinegar from Cluj to San Sebastian, Spain. Long trip's ahead.
Beautiful scenery and castle in the Alps, close to the Italian - French border:
After 4 driving programs finally crossing the border to Spain at Irun:
From San Sebastian I'm heading back east, to Sanok, south-eastern Poland with a plain curtainsider:
Over the Vistula in Krakow:
Almost at home. Climbing the Piatra Craiului pass between Oradea and Cluj:
A new family member: Iveco Stralis AS 420 (Yeah, I know, Iveco ... never driven a single one, so I wanted to try) stopped on the M1 in Hungary, heading towards Bergen, Norway:
Rainy afternoon on the E6 in Halland, Sweden:
Some days later: Riding along the Hardangerfjorden, fully loaded with fresh fish to Poznan, Poland:
Entering the ferry terminal in Trelleborg at midnight:
Crossed the Baltic overnight, then leaving the ferry in the morning at Svinoujscie:
Loaded a container trailer from Poznan to the port in Constanța. Entering Romania from Hungary at Borș:
Went home to Cluj to take some rest:
Took a pleasant rest, finally in a real bed, at home. Then the next day it was time to move. Rolling trough the hills of Transylvania on the A3:
Arriving to the port in Constanta the next morning:
From here I'm heading back to Bucharest empty:
... (Just loaded two tractors, bound for home)
Next day. Early in the morning. Almost at home:

Humanitarian aid to Chișinău - Moldova:
Just finished loading at Jyväskylä, Finland. Getting the CMR ready, then off we go:
Had to make a 9h pause in the harbour in Helsinki before boarding the ferry to Tallinn:
Leaving the ferry the next morning in Tallinn:
Oh, by the way, this is the freshest truck of the company on it's first trip. Not such a big monster with it's 420 EEV engine but it gets the job done.
Entering Lithuania:
Next day, just some km's south of Bialystok, PL. If my counts are right, and I can reach the slovakian border at the end of this programme, then I should reach Cluj tommorow evening and spend that night at home:
Had to speedrun over the whole Poland. Average aroung 85 kp/h trough country roads, which is very unusual for me, rarely go that fast even on motorways. (I usually like to keep it around 82-83 on motorways, 75-76 on country roads) but finally I reached Slovakia. Stopped in the first parking after the border.
Next day, in the outskirts of Kosice, SK:
Just entered Hungary:
At Borș/Oradea, H-RO border, seems like I'm gonna sleep at home tonight indeed:
Late afternoon on the DN1 between Oradea and Cluj. I'm just starting to realise how nice this truck is without modifications, bullbars, lamps and such:
Arriving home. Turning in the garage in Cluj:
Next morning before heading further eastwards, I quickly ran down to the Volvo service in Gilau outside of Cluj for a little safety check (You know... I'm going to Moldova..)
Climbing the Carpathians:
On the RO-MD border, time to get the papers and passports ready:
Had to stop just after a few kilometers inside the counry:
Next day. Whoa I'm not really used to rally-ing, but it's interesting nevertheless (Though, I don't know if it really counts as rally-ing, having an average speed of 25-30 troughout the whole counry )
Finally reaching Chisinau, now let's find that adress. I think I'm gonna unload this aid at a schoolyard or something:
Unloaded. Then left the empty trailer at a depot. Didn't find anything to load for home from here, so I'm leaving empty. I should arrive home tomorrow morning. Then I'm gonna get some time off. Probably a month. Or two..

I know this isn't directly related to ProMods, but since the hype is pretty big right now I thought I show some of my first moments in ATS.
After a couple of runs for different companies and a small 50.000 $ loan from the bank, I bought my first truck. A Freightliner FLD with 500 HP:
David Kiesch Haulage Inc. is my new owner-operator company, based in San Francisco and I do jobs mainly for the ports of SF and Oakland:
Getting ready for my first trip.
On the Oakland Bay Bridge, heading to the port of SF with a Transamerica container, loaded with some electronic equipment bound for China:
Scenic shot somewhere on the coast of Southern California:
Just after loading some frozen food near Oxnard:
Rest time somewhere north of LA:
Heading home to SF, with another reefer:

Thanks jasper
Back to EU:
Cluj (RO) > Oslo (N) > Craiova (RO) > Cluj (RO)
Attached a Freja trailer in Cluj, loaded for Oslo.
Long way to go...
Early morning somewhere between Brno and Prague:
I alway love driving trough Göteborg:
Arriving to the destination in another morning:
Loading some misc used stuff from IKEA's Oslo base, to Craiova, southern Romania:
Customs and paperworks at Svinesund (N-S border)
Rest stop with a "breathtaking" view on the motorway near the German - Czech border:
Getting close to the romanian border:
Pulled up the truck in the base, and I went home for a night:
Next morning, on the entrace of the A3 near Cluj (Funny how that JCarrion has it's base underneath this overpass in Real Life ):
Arrived to Craiova in the afternoon:
Just did a quick trailer swap then I'm already on the way back home. I mean tommorrow, now it's time to rest:
Had a long overnight drive, but it's finally the sun is rising around Alba Iulia:
Waiting for some papers, then I can finally detach and go home after this long journey:

Thank you
Anyway, I'm preparing for my last job with this truck, after this I'm heading back to Kiel to my old FH.
Loading meat to Olsztyn, Poland:
Stopped on the top of the Piatra Craiului pass to buy some coffee:
Entering Hungary:
The rain has got me while riding trough eastern Slovakia:
Stopped just before the Polish border for some rest, then the next morning I'm preparing for the next etape:
Somewhere in PL:
Stopped for the 9h pause 40 km south of the destination.
First, it was very creepy that this huge parking was sooo empty...
...after like 30 minutes I found out why...
I just walked into the nest of the notorius polish Inspekcja!
They started to check every paper, the truck, the cargo, they even put me on the scales, but finally they couldn't find anything to fine me for
But I spent the night there anyway, then the next morning, I'm arriving to Olsztyn:

So finally I went back to my good old FH after some months in Romania, here's some shots after a few trips:
In Frederikshavn with a Freja reefer to Göteborg:
Unloading near Stena Line's Danmarksterminalen in Göteborg:
On the E6 along the swedish west coast (Interestingly, this region, Halland, has danish styled signs):
Heading north from Hamburg on the A7:
Waiting for the ferry to Holland in the rainy Harwich:
Early morning in Kristiansand:
Waiting for the papers after loading a container in Risavika havn near Stavanger:
Somewhere in Schleswig-Holstein:
Climbing the hills around Porta Westfalica on the A2:
Rushing up to Puttgarden with a Mærsk:
Next morning over the Öresundsbron...:
...and some hours later near the Vättern:
Brahehus. Oh I love this stretch.. :
Stau in Frankfurt:
On another frigo job in Malmö:
(Relatively) Bright night in Norway:
In Kristiansand again, waiting to board the Ferry to Denmark:
Off the ferry in Hirtshals:
Just after loading a CMA container in the port of Hamburg:
Near Helsingborg on the E6:
Crossing the Lillebælt in Denmark:
