There were no jobs heading south out of Brest, but Gallia Ferries had some transmissions that needed moving to La Rochelle in the south - the direction I wanted to go in. A short drive to Roscoff to pick up the cargo and I was on the road south...
Part 3: Transmissions from Roscoff(F) to La Rochelle(F)
A 425km trip earning €25,000.

Arriving in Roscoff.

At the depot in La Rochelle, the first maximum graphics screenshot of the trip!
This was the best part so far partly because it wasn't at night, but also because the scenery was so nice and the weather was good. Into Spain next...

Oh and if you've lost track of time because I haven't put any times or dates on previous logs, it's 14:20 on Monday week 1 in La Rochelle.

Having fininshed updating my RDCL mod, it was time to find another job heading south. Kaarfor neeeded some pallets to be shipped down to Donostia. It was time to leave France behind (for now).
Part 4: Empty Pallets from La Rochelle(F) to Donostia San Sebastián(E)
A 400km trip across the Pyrenees and into Spain, earning €16,000.

Arriving in Spain as the Sun sets. We won't be on the autovía for long.
Image
Spain is not renowned for easy to navigate junctions or overly friendly signage, so a lot to look forward to then...
So came the end of Monday, on Tuesday I planned to continue on to my garage in Bilbao, but not before I'd bought one in Donostia that had come up for sale. Also time for a new trailer soom...

With nothing needing to be shipped out of Pamplona, I decided to head on to Zaragoza empty and hope to find something there...

As soon as I got to Zaragoza, asked around for work. I was told some pears needed to be taken further down the road to the town of Teruel...

Ending Tuesday week 1 by the sea in Valencia.
And so I'd arrived in Valencia and completed the long drive south. Thanks so much to everyone that's supported me, because knowing people are enjoying this trip as much as I am is the only reason I'm still here - so thank you! :D

The next part (not part, but er... series of parts, chapter, or something) of the European Mega-Tour will take us along the mediterranean coast and up into the Pyrenees and the Alps before returning to the sea once more in Trieste, Italy. (Most of Italy will come after our visit to Greece).

The next part (as in one part not series of parts) will start on Wednesday week 1(Game time) and will take us as far as Barcelona...
