Today I drove a few km's more with the same Mercedes-Benz Actros as in the last post.

The "teacher" was very happy about my driving and he told me that I do have the skills to drive a 26-tonne truck :)

Here's the PowerShift shifter unit:

and for the last picture, appropriately filled tachograph disc after driving. (driver name and truck registration number blurred due to privacy.

Actually, this Mercedes drives very nicely even on uneven surface because it has air suspension all over the vehicle. Under the cabin, theres a 16-liter V8 so there's plenty of power.

Well, finally this past week, I've been driving a lot, last Wednesday we started our day 7AM in Vaasa, where first went to Seinäjoki to buysome work clothing, then a 15 minute coffee break. After that we headed to Jalasjärvi to empty the cargobay from the Mercedes, which I've been saying about a few times already. From there we headed out to Tampere and ate in Parkano and had another break at Teboil Pirkanhovi. From there we drove all the way up near Turku, where we loaded up just a few metal sheets and begaus our journey back to Vaasa. First, we had a break in Aura and then took the road to Huittinen and from there to "Kakkostie" or Valtatie 2 to Pori and by using the E8 all the way back to Vaasa. The truck was parked at 11PM, so we had a 15-hour day and we only drove 792 km.

Before that trip, I had a change to drive a 460hp 4-chassis Volvo (12-sped manual)
Image

Then I finally had time reserved for my C-driving test, and I used the newest and longest truck they had, a 2013 Scania G440 with Opticruise, and I passed the test, so I can drive trucks legally now :)
Image

Here is one picture where we had a lot of trucks (only a Volvo, 4-series Scania and the well-known Merc) there was two more Volvos and Scanias plus a semi-trailer and a module-trailer (semi-trailer connected to a dolly)
Image

But now, I do have something to show you from virtual world as well.

Here is my newest daily driver, a 400hp Scania
Image

Soon I went to painter, who painted my truck, but not the trailer
Image

And when I took my legal break, the painter did some miracles to the trailer
Image

Also, this Limetec trailer receive some paint, too!

Looks like I've been more than 3 months away from posting new images.

First of all, I've changed my screen from 1280x1024 to my 32" TV (runs ETS2 pretty much 50-60FPS at 1920x1280 and 125% scaling). Then I received a job and got fired.. Then I got a job from a Finnish garbage recycling company as a trainee, which ended 4th of January. Now after two weeks of thinking, they actually hired me, so now that I drive sh*t and the trucks, I'll get money from it. I will post later on some real life photos, that I've taken from my work.

But now, let's get cracking with these photos. I will only put a short description, maybe next time something story-like.

I took this V-Slider that needed transporting somewhere (unfortunately, I forgot the destination)

The Swedish Police wasn't that happy about my load, since they've surrounded my truck :D

Right after purchasing the Special Transport DLC, I had to deliver this thing

Nowdays, the Scania looks like this

Even had to visit Faroe Islands among the trip

A Maybe a little quiz: Where is this photo taken, and what is the famous place next to this motorway?

Let me show you couple of more images from real life in this post besides the virtual world. I'm writing this kinda tired, so I apologize if you find an image that has been already shown.

I've just drove 3000+ km trip from Rostock to Palermo via small roads with my trusty S-serie Scania and almost immediately took another 1000+ km trip to Rijeka from Palermo. Looks like I'm gonna be a long-hauler for a while :)

Image

Maybe this local DAF driver did spill his load... :?
Image

It's me racing against a DAF Euro 6, guess who won?
Image

Man this 730hp V8 is thirsty as f...
Image

These truckers clearly hadn't enough money to buy a 7-series :D
Image

Waiting for barriers to open at a rail road crossing.
Image

Isn't it gorgeous?
Image

Finally arrived to my destination... but hey, how in the hell am I gonna park my trailer into this slot?
Image

Many, many maneuvers later... done!
Image

And for the next load ;)
Image

And now for the real life pictures.

After been working all by myself for a month, I finally ended up the situation, where most of truckers (not saying this individually, but in common) have been at their very first stage of their career.

First accident was only very minor, I only scraped a house wall with a mirror, but today happened something which may have caused me not to go fr work in a short period of time.

So, I drove this kinda narrow and nasty road because there was the company's trash bins that I needed to empty. After emptying out the fourth one (which was the second last one), I had to drive in a section where previous plowing was didn't done properly, and the road was barely wide enough to fit a 26-tonne truck (or lorry) there. The front right tire did get out of the road a bit too much, which caused it to drag and my travel ended up on a deep ditch. It could've been avoided by braking and steering carefully but I got so scared that I missed the brake pedal and instead of gradually braking, I did floor it which just pushed it deeper.

After all, the situation could've been a lot worse for me and the vehicle. For the vehicle, possibly broken window and a side mirror ft it has tipped over, and for me, uhm... well, I think you may know what happens when you do not wear a seat belt.
