Nur der Info halber: meine Promods Def hat sich grade weggelegt ( kein Ding ,habe ja s Beckup File )
Folge: ganze Karte dann verschwunden

trat auf von:
poland rebuild Warschau -> berlin
einzige Mods warn PR und PM
problem bei der Sache: habe die alte Gamelog nich mehr griffbereit. Beim nächstem Mal sag ich bescheid.

PS könnte es nützlich sein, das SCS File "Promods Def" schreibgeschützt zu machen ?

Ob das Datei Schreibgeschützt ist können wir lieder nicht beinflußen. Das kann mann nur lokal am Rechner machen.

nun ja genau das meine ich ja.
D.h. - ich habe hier heute das Ding erlebt, und ein Freund von mir, dem ich die Promods empfahl (glaube er schreibt hier nun auch habe ja schon "bekehrt" ohne Ende ^^ sagen wir den Menschen Spass empfohlen) hat das Problem auch schon 2x gehabt.
bei ihm wär die Karte entweder verschoben, oder leer gewesen.

heut hatt ich das zum 1. Mal, d.h. da war die Karte leer.

ich kann mir den Fehler nicht erklären. Ich hol Dir gleich mal nen Auszug Gamelog aus ner PM.

allerdings ging mir durch den Kopf:
die DEF wird ja "nur" gelesen, normal bruach die keinen Schreibzugriff, wird ja nix verändert.
Wenn man die nun "schreibschützen" würde, wäre so lange bis der Fehler mal endgültig gefixt ist
die Möglichkeit einer Veränderung in der Def ja eigentlich - unlogisch

wa smeinste , geht das oder muss die für Schreibzugriffe offen sein damit das Game nicht abschmiert ?
ich denk mal - eigentlich nicht - oder ?

Das hat zu tun mit die Ladefolge. Das heißt, die Daten die map koordinaten werden übernommen von genau dieser Datei die als letzter geladen werd. Falls es einen andere mod gibt die auch eine def Datei hat (game_data.sii) dann ist die ProMods datei NICHT mehr aktiv und bekommt mann dieser map quatsch.

Hallo Scul, das ist mir bewusst, der Fehler hier trat schon nach der zerschossenen Def auf.

d.h. muss es zu direkten Lese / schreibfehlern in der Def gekommen sein.
das spielte sich so ab:
ich fuhr richtung Berlin, etwa auf höhe dresden, hatte ca. 5 - 8 minuten lang (kann es schlecht abschätzen) Polen verlassen
mit einem Moment war die Strasse - weg - es ging in s Uferlose

als ich dann Abschleppdienst rief stürtze ich wieder in s nix.
( ging erst von nem Strassenfehler aus, fehlende road connection ... )
danach Auftrag abgebrochen,
im Profil habe ich dann gesehen- gar keine strassen mehr da.
