Development on version 2.x (Barents Sea Extension)

Went all the way to Longyearbyen.
Especially the trip through Russia was an absolute stunner. May fav drive ever.
Beau-ti-ful, exceeded my expectations, so much detail and reality in nature.

Never been to Murmansk but it felt very Mumansk-ish

I took a drive from Oulu to Svalbard, and I really enjoyed it. In Svalbard there was a snow road not marked to the map. I went and drove it as far as I could go. I found a research center which even had a rest stop. An easter egg or WIP for the future? Also there was a road barrier which was easy to go around and the snow road continued until the end of the map.

Incredible scenery and I love the camber roads! Frame rates were amazing too. It felt like 60 FPS on those winding roads. Only place with a slow frame rate is Murmansk (city). Well done!

Is the road from Murmansk to Verkhnetulomskiy an official but non-gps route or is it a bug that it's not closed?

Argh! I came here to post a couple of screenshots saying "I found the easter egg!" but not saying where it was... I wasn't able to find the sleeping spot up there.

Absolutely brilliant, I love this part of the map, I will be spending a lot of time in the Barents area.

I have been to the Borisoglebsky dam three times, each time I have fallen asleep and crashed just before the main road back. But a sleeping spot at the dam would make it too easy.

Please accept my congratulations ajungrei93, you have done amazing work. I have made assets and large maps for another game and I know how much time and effort you have spent learning and creating and finally bringing to life this awesome addition. Thank you again.

It's worthwhile noting that Svalbard has been built by ETS2-User and was connected to the Barents Sea project out of practical reasons
