The UK is bigger in ProMods than in Stock SCS 1.26. Aberdeen in 1.26 is horizontally in line with Kristiansand and Plymouth is vertically in line with Roscoff. Both pairs are not in line in ProMods 2.15. You can see the difference at Plymouth/Roscoff in the two screenshots.

Turns out that SCS changed the map projection. It's very hard to find a map of a similar projection or rescale it because our map has to be bigger but still of the same file size. We're looking into it.

I realise that most people want more roads but personally I would like to see more stopping places. Good stopping places are part of the (real world) trucking culture and I know there are a few but in my opinion more would give a better feel to the routes. (over all Europe too)
I would also applaud inclusion of more of those difficult supermarket drops, I find those very challenging and in the real world are common. It was something sadly lacking in the base game that Promods have addressed to a certain degree but I would still like to see more of those difficult pick-ups and drop-offs.
Other than that, great work people, and have a great New Year all!

Here is the summary on why the UK looks different on SCS's route map.
There is an optional but hard-coded feature in the map file that allows the area of the UK to be changed in size (the reasoning behind this is that the UK is in 1:15 but SCS didn't want it to be so obvious in the route map)
This feature is obviously enabled in the vanilla map.
However this feature had to be disabled in the ProMods map because (due to it being hard-coded and non-customizable) it would not only change the size of the UK in the route map, but it would really mess up the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
That's why the UK looks bigger in the ProMods route map.

In theory, if this feature was available, it would (sort of) resolve problems with scale, after all, one script addition would have to be done, which is "isolating" the different scale area from the rest of the map, so that no collisions would occur. All that without using a ferry, just by drawing a zone. It would be a bit difficult to manage, but if objects in the zone would appear (would be actually) several times smaller, then it should be atteignable. Player wouldn't even notice that he's smaller, or that he's in the zone, only the city would be bigger. Relatively.

Great work as always in Promods especially in the UK. I was wondering if there is a chance the a90 to Aberdeen will be made into a proper dual carriageway as in real life and if the a80 is changed to m80 as this road has been a motorway for sometime.
