I wonder if even the AI traffic in game are smart enough to understand such a complex roundabout as Swindon.
Very nice video, though, bricksathome

Hi,
Please could you (at some point) add Exeter in Devon (SE England)
It is where the M5 finishes

When I used to work in Swindon we used to have competitions to see how many different ways we could go round it !Volleybal4life wrote: ↑29 Apr 2017 08:58The magic roundabout is a piece of genius, it's really easy to navigate around it.

I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but there is a huge mistake in the map of Northern Scotland. I just drove from Newcastle to Portree which is a nice drive. However, in the map I passed through Inverness then Fort William after which I saw a sign for Loch Ness. This is wrong on two counts. Firstly, Fort William is approximately 95 Km SOUTH of Inverness and secondly, to get to Portree on the Isle of Skye, one does NOT go anywhere near Inverness. To get to Portree, once past Fort William, one leaves the A82 at Invergarry which joins the A87 to Portree.
Does ProMods developers try to find some non-maps (and users) source when making maps and choosing towns ? I found for UK and Ireland there's SABRE which describes almost all roads in the UK and Ireland, and there's cbrd which lists and describes all grade-separated dual carriageways (the sort of roads trucks are supposed to be in), exclusive to the UK (GB & NI). It's almost only after lurking around these sites (esp. cbrd) that at last I know how horrible SCS UK was (the European mainland version was clearly horrible as ARP shows) - none of the motorway / dual carriageway alignment fits and all the junctions are horribly wrong (from their horrible counterparts). I hope these sites could help ProMods developers in making a realistic British Isles in 1:15 scale - they have all the latest documentations and even prior plans to road upgrades around the place (too often Google Maps lags in the UK, weirdly).
All said, now that I know those, I have some wishlist :
- Separate A2/M2 and M20. Maybe if cities on the southern "coast" of Thames ever be built in game it'll worth to actually make them separate. Otherwise, I hope for M20.
- Proper A74(M)/M74, M73 and M8. The current one is just soo wrong, considering M8 and M74 actually tore straight through central Glasgow !
- Some urban "motorways" - maybe a good way to make distinction for some british city centres (or outskirts).
- M90. Didn't even know it exists when looking SCS maps !
- A55 - I know this is probably pre-packed with connections to Ireland but I hope for the best, that road looks amazing IRL.
Sorry for the rant, but it's been a long time I haven't lurked around this forum and as UK and Ireland is among the right-hand driving country and so the only way to drive right-handed in game "legally"
