The current scope of the project is only the M6 corridor itself, and the rebuild ends just south of the M56 interchange, so the A556 interchange is currently out of the scope. Furthermore, the M56 doesn’t even exist east of the M6 in game yet, so you won’t be driving on it at all for now.

Future plans are not finalized yet but as always we will try to maintain realism whenever the game’s scale permits us

I think you're right. I park here often in real life and the resemblance is uncanny! Great work!
It is indeed :D

Thanks for the clarification. Godspeed on the reworks !

I find the whole M56 into Manchester a little strange.

Yes, it needs to run below Liverpool to connect Wales with the M6 in the game, but the M56 leads to nowhere. There is no industrial estates in central Manchester, only derelict areas around Gorton to the East. The only real industrial part of the city is Salford, that still hosts mills, Cargill's there with their plant, Kuehne & Nagel - lots of industry there.
I know - I personally don't expect any part of central Manchester to appear, but M56 connects with M60, and is a very convenient route avoiding making Thelwall Viaduct more congested in real life (though then the entire Manchester area is a crawl, really, at least based off someone who I know that lives in the area). Then there's Stockport, so much so they went ahead with the A555 MAELR (which is actually a fragment of what should be the manchester orbital motorway). Trafford Park is better served from M62, not M56.

I personally don't mind seeing some areas not being represented - both Lancashire and Yorkshire are known for their extensive motorway networks (even more than London), and it'd be very difficult representing them all as they are IRL. This is why I kept asking for how does the developers plan to represent the area - it is a very complex but interesting problem to tackle ! But I'll say again : I'm happy if some areas are not represented, as long as the others who're represented makes a lot of sense.

Can I make one suggestion though? Can you have the time scale slowed from the roundabout off the A1 into the services? It looks so detailed I can imagine it easily using an hours driving time to get in and out again!

It would be possible, I'll try to remember to do it :P

Meanwhile, away from the motorway and into the villages...

I feel like your getting closer to Leeds since Leeds is in West Yorkshire.
