Niš should be included in the next version if I am not mistaken.Vladimir U. wrote: ↑17 Mar 2018 19:34Will you add some towns in Serbia for the next version of Promods? And will you add Kragujevac, Užice and Niš in the far future?

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

wow, great work there!
Congratulations.
What about the existing Balkan map ? ...will it merge in the promods "project" or it will remain a separate map, like it is today ?

Since ProMods 2.20 there are 2 versions of Balkan Area - ProMods and Project Balkans. You can choose whatever you want but our version of Croatia or Serbia is brand-new, so it uses new assets and mapping techniques for better accuracy and experience (in Zagreb for example, which is much older in PB).
Also, in PM 2.30, we'll cover a lot more, down to Greece. PB just overwrites a small part of our map and we won't merge, because there's no point in doing that

I got it, thanks for the reply... will try both versions when the time comes, and than choose.
In the version that I currently use (PM2.25 with Balkan area as a separate map) Trieste and Zagreb are superbly done.
Pity for the low fps in the two cities, compared to the rest of the maps
Btw. Trieste (I) and Zagreb (HR), in the combination that I use; are they built by ProMods or the Balkan team ?

@gstaraz
If you're using Project Balkans, Trieste is built by Promods and Zagreb is Project Balkans. If not, then both are built by Promods.

I use Project Balkans at the moment.
Zagreb and Rijeka was a bit to "small" in the promods map, that fore I decided to load the Balkan Project.
...than I lost track of who built what, and just automatically updated the maps, as new versions became available.
Really great work on the two towns. IMO the 2 best built cities in ETS2
Trieste really gives You the feel of the real city, (the only one in Italy) but as said, pity for the fps drop there (around 30 fps on my rig... sometimes even less)
...and Zagreb seems just a bit to crowded with unnecessary fps eaters ...(around 35 fps here)
Is it time to upgrade my rig ?!?
How are You guys doing concerning the fps on the 2 cities; on recent machines (on i7 and up) ? I am still on a E8600 @4.1 Ghz

I didn't check Rijeka in PB but I can tell you Rijeka in PM is very realistic. I was there in September 2017 only for one day trip and I was able to recognize at least few spots in game, even though it's scaled down a lot
I don't have performance issues in Rijeka and I don't remember encountering any in Zagreb.

Does it mean that PB doesn't actually "add" more than you do and we just have to chose between 2 versions of the exact same area?Vøytek wrote: ↑25 Mar 2018 01:03Since ProMods 2.20 there are 2 versions of Balkan Area - ProMods and Project Balkans. I will never understand why map teams don't work more closely to create a smooth, good-looking final map. It's always conflicts and mapping overlaps. Why?
