That parking area in the middle doesn't seem safe. I'm hoping traffic speeds are lowered before reaching this location, otherwise it will be very difficult for motorists to back out of those parking spaces.

I typically feel safer driving in the Balkans than I do in the San Francisco Bay Area. Just saying.
Guys, you're right! It is a border crossing just near Subotica (however, it is just 1/2 of it - due lack of space and few other issues)
