I only hope for information about stages, as ScuL was saying before 2.2. We knew for mass beta - testing...
E.g. we know that not much more areas can be incluced in 2.3 (which we didn't see on pictures).
We can calculate approximately release "date" based on past.
I am satisfied with that.

I'm the only one around here who really doesn't like this "it's ready when it's ready" stuff? I mean, we know you are a team of people who do this as their passion. But from respect for your users and people who donate, you should try and give at least an approximate period of time.
You may not like it, but it's the way it works.

ProMods is not a business or a company, and we do not work on schedules.
We have an approximate "cut-off" when new development is sealed for a new version and from that moment onward we have several iterations of testing.
Sometimes this finalisation process can take one month, sometimes it takes four months. It depends how much time the developers have for bug-fixing and how many bugs the testers find.
Both developers and testers are not employees of ProMods, but individuals who do this as a hobby besides their work or school commitments.

As a consequence; it's totally impossible to predict when a release is ready.

I guess that maybe before 2050 there will be 2.30 but I'm not sure. What I know is that it will be awsome even if it comes on that date. :D
We just have to keep in mind that there will be a map expansion to Baltic countries and maybe Promods' guys will need to see what adjustments will be needed to do if so.
People, just live enough to enjoy it and don't complain.

I'm personally anticipating 2.3 sometime after ETS2 1.31 or the Baltic DLC release

The border crossing prefabs can be found at the game files because SCS put them at 1.31 as well as baltic roads and prefabs they have also added soviet era block of flats and it looks so realistic
But i think they're not functional yet...or are?
l
most of them there are assets or roads, i have not tested the border crossings but i think it acts as functional prefab.

Nothing will mess up an artist's work more than a deadline (or even an approx of such) set by himself.

The thing that many people ask about realease dates is actually good because it means that amny people love ProMods and their work and cannot wait for the newer version!

If you follow the current development and the different release dates in recent years, you could get an idea, believe me!

It would amaze me if the DLC Baltic would go out before November or December thus it is not likely that it takes(brings) out it even as long as promods. Then, he always can bungled seen the amount of work to be made. It is necessary at least until February so that the dlc is not bad.

There's really no use in to aproximate the next PM update to a certain relase date, but if we really need to, I would agree that it would be logical to come out some time after the Balttic Dlc, and considering that last time SCS actually did a great job with Italy anouncing it so late in the developement that it came out only like four months later, it's maybe not even that far ahead, but then again who would know how things are going in both PM's and SCS's ways apart from the developers themselves , who obviously keep a closed mouth about the ways things are heading. But I think that's fine like that, at least they are able to surprise us when we least expect it.
