I think that whole Balkans region will be included. Former Yugoslavian republics and Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Albania.

Given the size of the team, and the amount of time the team has been sitting on it, the whole Balkan area isn't a far stretch. Not sure would Romania be counted in or not however.

Another option would be all the balkan countries outside of the former Yugoslavia (so Romania, Bulgaria and possibly Greece) - though this makes for a really odd gap in the map.

I'd be very interested in seeing maps of these areas being updated as closely as possible as the real-world is updated, however. A lot of highway projects being carried out.

Also, Croatia will enter Schengen next year.

Has SCS posted an official image showing the countries covered on their next DLC? The definition of balkans is quite extensive.

I think the ProMods team definitely had some inside knowledge of this, considering how 'quiet' this thread has been.

In 2.30 the balkans countries got 17 new cities and 3 new countries. The balkans thread is definitely one of the most actives ones.

Their teaser video ticks all the requirements for Bulgaria - coastal Bulgaria at that. And presumably we need a way to connect up to that...

Bulgaria is already confirmed in the next DLC for like 3 months maybe, no surprise
