Would it be possible to add some backroads across the promods French map so that truckers can drive across France without using the autoroute and avoiding having to stop at those pain in the butt tolls, so that we can enjoy some smooth sailing across France, or if possible change the tolls to EZ Pass, or in Europe's case, Auto-Pass.

Removing barriers: Go to map editor, click to propreties, then on tolls prefabs, and uncheck semaphores. No more stopping on tolls.

That would be nice, having country roads... a lot of work though.

There is a chance then that some companies will be designated for Monaco and not Nice, if companies are closer to Monaco than Nice.

here's the map of "Vive la France"... i think that a lot of the beautiful work you did in this region can be integrated with this new Dlc!

Quite a few less settlements than expected, it seems.

Tours, Orleans, Angers, Cherbourg, Pau, Bayonne, Perpignon and Poiters can be added straight back in.

It then wouldn't be too much of a stretch to add in Brive, Valence, Avignon, Roanne, Narbonne and Saint Etienne to bring the map up to a standard ProMods density.

It may also be possible to fit Tarbes in, but considering it's only 23mi from Pau, it may be a tight fit

Nice new map. Weird that they left out a complete part of Southwestern France... But so far it looks promising.

Corsica can easily be added in the future, just need to add a port in Marseille (which could be hard depending on how the city is depicted) or add Toulon port.

Anyway, just to wish you good luck on the rebuild. Of course feel free to use the dozens of tourist signs I created. I sent around 80 to Kutchek back in the day, no idea if he implemented any (I spent weeks creating signs on the latest highways he worked on, but did not see any of them in game... maybe they are hidden somewhere in the core files).

Fun fact: Orléans was cancelled, but you still see remains of it in the DEF files, in the assets and even some unfinished area on the map. Maybe it's better to use that as a base...
