Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Hello guys. Sory about my very bad Engilsh and about may be stupid questions.
I love ProMod`s Iceland but I think that the scale of map does not match the real scale. I know, the scale of simulator is 1:20 but i talk about the visual scale. If I look at the photo or Google-panoramas of Iceland, i will see the large areas, but in ProMod`s Iceland I have a feeling that I'm driving through a smaller Iceland, "toy" Iceland. Is it because the game engine is not able to build very large areas?
And one more question. I do not know what summer looks like in Iceland, but I thaught that there was no snow.
Any way, my problem is that I see another Iceland in game, not Iceland, which I saw in photo and video.
I apologize again if I did not understand.

Yes, we have limited possibilities in this game.
Snow/grass give us diversity and I think it's interesting for most of our players

That's what I do right now. Replacing places that doesn't feel Icelandic as much as they should. I think you can see on last screenshots from Skaftafell area that landscape is vast and desolated like it should. In 2.2 big part of south will be rebuild to give you that feeling.
And as Voytek said we are often limited by game engine. Sometimes it's impossible to simulate objects that should be very far as game won't show them at all. For example Myrdalssandur. That black sand area in south. The glacier should be a lot further into the mainland but game would clip it. And because you drive alongside it we can't fake it by rescaling it. It would just appeared small, not further away. I hope you'll like it better in 2.2.
On that snow thing. Yes in summer there is no snow anywhere apart glaciers, but we put it there to give players more variety and a new challenge. Also I've seen a lot of snow in late May in north, so it's not 100% unrealistic .

I was still amazed at the incredible beauty of your Iceland and I spend a lot of time to discover this island. That's probably why I went to the Internet to watch different photos and videos of Iceland.
Sory again about my the best of the best English.
