Hello,
Indeed it is Syria. Well, a small part of it because I don't intend to develop it a lot.
The country remains quite complicated due to the recent war, which sadly remains active in some regions.
But some borders seems now to be open and trade (what means trucks) restarts progressively. So, what should come ?
In fact this. I'll name it the Syrian corridor. It will mainly allow to link Lebanon and Jordan : This map shows also the road to Iraq (now nearly finished) and, in purple, the new roads in north of Israel and West Bank (still under construction)
Also, Syria will not be so easy to cross. Don't except to make it in one or two hours by highway. You'll be forced to use also some national roads
And then, there will be the border controls, but also a lot of checkpoints that will slow your progression : Finally, there will be two cities : Damascus of course, and Deraa in the south, near the Jordan border.
As for the coastal road (Tartous, Latakia), it's also planned, but not now. It will be part of the Turkish corridor, to link Mid-East to main Promods by road.
This one will however be quite longer to build ...
Merry Christmas to everybody

In fact, it's Al-Dimass, which is indeed on road 1

Awesome Christmas news, thank you
Is it possible to build from Mafraq, road 15 to Jaber border crossing and then M5 (Syria) to Izra' as second alternative route? (Perhaps not due to scale reasons)

Speaking of checkpoints, would there be a way to add armed soldiers to them?
