The good news is that it will be ready when its ready. Until then the best thing we can all do is stay home, keep safe and be ready to really enjoy it when it gets here.

That said I do have a question. Will the existing road connections to Rusmap and Paris rebuilt, Medmap or enhanced junctions mods still work with 2.45. I know the development is in areas that don't affect that part of the map but I don't like to assume anything and I guess part of the endless months of fun to follow, will be finding out those very answers anyway. Thanks to any dev who has a spare moment to answer that question.

Indeed. That's what we want to avoid, as it even happened in ETS2 modding scene many times with other mods. It's just impossible to give any date, we can't know when everything will be fixed and ready to release.Dreadzone wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020 15:57they got absolutely hammered by fans on the forum, twitter etc. for promising something for a certain date and it not being ready by then.
This is why the answer for any update for any game is always "When it's ready". It's not arrogance or disrespect, it's simply not promising something that they cannot be 100% certain of delivering, and ending up with a lot of angry and disappointed fans.
No. We don't release for open beta versions.

This area looks empty indeed. But I don't think that border crossing would fit because of scaling reasons.YvoNafzger wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020 15:26I was wondering if there are any plans regarding the development of the Makaza border crossing from Greece to Bulgaria, on the road from Plovdiv to Komotini (for example in 2.5 or later versions)
With that said, I won't update the game to 1.37 until ProMods is compatible.

1.37 non-beta will probably need some time also when it is released as SCS have done some work in France, I think PM has replaced Strasbourg or at least done work in that area if i'm not mistaken,?
And an even worse thing that could happen if a date is fixed is that something containing bugs / not tested completely is released to meet the date, requiring a lot of patches etc, you can see that with many games

I assume they are going to release a 2.46 version for 1.37 like they released 2.43 for 1.36.
So i have played the normal ETS2, without mods for some time. I really like the look of promods, and want to try it out.
My question is; should i wait for the 2.45 release, or should i just download the version available now? Will my progress from ETS2 (classic) be transferred to ProMods?

If you have RttBS installed, you should wait for the 2.45 release since the current version is not compatible with the latest DLC but it won't break the game either. Also your progress won't be affected once the mod is installed, so it will be transferred.

I need to tell developers that I didn't want to push on you. You should make mod as long as you will need. It's normal that players want to use your mod as soon as possible. Don't be angry at this.
