If it sticks or not is anyone's guess. And since Mandelsoft is held back by NDAs, we won't know untill next week. It's not even that far away.

It's just a random date. VLF was released in December 2016 so you could have expected Italia will be released in December 2017

True, the date is a guess but not confirmed by scs itself. They told that the new dlc will come end of 2017. Which means this can be between 1-31st December 2017.
