I'm just thnking from a marketing point of view, steam sales reduce the price of the base game (just like now with the autumn sales), what better time to release a DLC that is brand new. Although I'm starting to wonder how long they can keep this going without doing something to an already ageing game. I mean, the graphics on release were ok, but they're definitely going worse these days with new engines and DX12 becoming more common.
Content is fine and all, but this is not WOW that is made to last for decades for some obscure reason.

they are working since a few versions on the game engine. SCS is replacing the game engine step by step with the major updates - you can not just remove the old one and place the new one in, that is not going to work.

I hope that the new dlc includes the distance signs in kilometers left to the next and big cities. Which I missed in the france dlc.
