Then, it would be nice to have some parts of road not included (I think for space reasons), as the North-West part of A90 (Grande Raccordo Anulare)
I explained three pages ago why this cannot be done.

- It looks strange to me that SCS didn't include the ferry connection between Genova and Palermo ...
Except that trucks are considerably faster than ferries, so even with the mandatory breaks from driving it might only make you lose time.
As far as i can see from the ferry booking websites, the ferry connection between Genova and Palermo and vice versa takes 21 hours; I've made a simulation to drive from Catania to Milano and it takes around 20 hours driving all the way through Italy + you need to take at least a break in the middle of Italy which will make the total of hours to 29... in my opinion it's worth to make a ferry connection between Genova and Palermo

(...)

... why not making a ferry connection between Genova and Palermo as well?
You might be aware of the "ferry bug". There's a good reason why there isn't many "coastal" ferry in-game than IRL.

Next better substitute would be a ferry to Sardinia and back.

Hi,

with update 1.30 and the new navigation system, the "ferry bug" is gone.

Best regards,

@IvanGF14
Anything to back up your words? New algorithm takes into account time the road takes. My screen. Old algorithm would just use ferry regardless of the amount of time it would take.

I read that and I understand that, in the current situation, it can't be done.

But, in a long-time period, it should be technically possible to rebuild the zone taking some space over the sea, like Trieste or Barcelona by Promods?

What about the other "old" Promods parts (like A1var between Bologna and Firenze, or the A4 in Verona surroundings, and other that was much real than SCS version), will them be merged in a future Promods version?

I agree... here's a very simple idea of a new Rome with a complete Grande Raccordo Anulare. Airport is stealing space from the sea but... who cares!

How often do we have to say that the Rome ring doesn't fit?

Ok.. doesn't fit. I'm not a mapper but objects can't be moved, deleted, transfered with the editor? I'm not critiziging but only asking and proposing ;)
