maybe a good solution for the future is to use satellite data based map (rescaled for example to 1:10 scale with the heights "exaggerated" 2 times) with "autogen" and custom objets, like flight simulator X or Prepar 3d

If you want to drive around Europe at a 1:1 scale just go to Europe in real life and drive around :P

I've said it in other topics, but a 1/15 rescale would be great. If not, at least 1/17 (I know, both require lots of work).

This is something I often wonder as well, but if you have seen the Map Editor, you will know and realize that all map work on ETS2 and ATS are literally good old handicraft with some help off map "blueprints".

I still wonder though is it possible to add such capabilities into the editor, but I bet that's off-topic not only to the map area itself, but also the the fact that this is ProMods forum and not SCS Software forum.

Yeah, IMO 1/15 its the perfect scale with the actual level of detail of the map. 1/20 its okay for small cities, but with bigger cities things seems to get difficult. If SCS one day rebuild London and keep it with the 1/15 scale, for sure will be the big city with the most "big city feeling" in all map.

That'd take time as long as if you were designing one for a real world construction. Given the oldest plans dates back centuries, you'll have to wait at least a lifetime.
Don`t let me start building roads again YNM :D

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.
